Introduction

This course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the foundational techniques involved in the construction of equipment, tanks, and pipe supports in industrial and infrastructure projects. It covers the essential principles, materials, design considerations, and construction practices used for building strong and reliable foundations to support heavy equipment, storage tanks, and piping systems. Participants will gain knowledge of soil analysis, foundation design, reinforcement, and construction techniques necessary for ensuring the safety and stability of these critical components.

Objective

By the end of the course, participants will be able to understand

  • Understand the fundamentals of foundation construction for equipment, tanks, and pipe supports.
  • Identify different types of foundations used in industrial and infrastructure projects.
  • Analyze soil properties and choose appropriate foundation types based on project requirements.
  • Understand the principles behind tank, equipment, and pipe support foundation design.
  • Apply best practices in the construction of foundations, ensuring safety, stability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure proper installation of tank and equipment foundations, including reinforcement and material selection.
  • Implement techniques for soil stabilization and foundation maintenance.
