Objective

To have a working knowledge of Maintenance Scheduling techniques and identifying predictive maintenance areas through computer and simulation modelling. This course will also give hands on training for development of Computerized Mechanical Maintenance Systems.

Day 1:

• Reliability centered Mechanical Maintenance RCM

• Mechanical Maintenance auditing.
• Mechanical Maintenance planning – Management & Software.

Day 2: 

Selecting CMMS system.

• Need for Asset  Enterprise
• Computerized Mechanical Maintenance Management.
• Break-up of CMMS.

Day 3: 

Computerized Analysis Systems:

• Computer Models for Strength and Durability
• Stress management and real time Kinematic and dynamic analysis for maintenance prediction.
• Focusing on critical areas of system through CAD/CAE Techniques
• Predictive maintenance through simulation modeling

Day 4: 

Scheduling Systems:

• Equipment categorization and maintenance plan.
• Equipment / Asset identification.
• Maintenance history retrieval systems and logging.
• Inventory status for Mechanical Maintenance systems and determination of minimum inventory level.
• Accumulated cost for Mechanical Maintenance history.
• Vendor reporting system.
• Engineering data and related drawings management for CMMS.
• Mechanical Maintenance schedule systems by predictive date plan.

Day 5: 

Reporting System for Mechanical Maintenance.

• Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and yearly schedule.

• Special format reports as per management requirement.
• Log details and modification consideration.  

NOTE:

Pre-& Post Tests will be conducted.

Case Studies, Group Exercises, Group Discussions, Last Day reviews, and assessments will be carried out.

Methodology

A highly interactive combination of lectures and discussion sessions will be managed to maximize the amount and quality of information and knowledge transfer.
