Day 2: Project Planning

  • Defining project scope and objectives
  • Work breakdown structure (WBS) development
  • Identifying project constraints and assumptions

Day 3: Project Scheduling

  • Introduction to project scheduling techniques
  • Critical Path Method (CPM) and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT)
  • Creating Gantt charts and project timelines

Day 4: Estimating Resources

  • Types of project estimates (e.g., time, cost, resource)
  • Techniques for estimating duration and costs
  • Managing uncertainties and risks in estimation

Day 5: Cost Control

  • Basics of project budgeting
  • Monitoring project costs and variances
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost performance indicators

 

NOTE:

Pre & Post Tests will be conducted.

Post tests will be with minimum pass marks.

Case Studies, Individual & Group Exercises, Project works (making into groups), Role plays, Group Discussions, Last Day Review & Assessments will be carried out as applicable.

Methodology
